My research explores how human activities shape biodiversity, with a particular focus on bird communities in urban and agricultural landscapes. I investigate how urbanisation, habitat fragmentation, and different landscape structures influence species diversity and their ecological traits. My work spans villages, urban green spaces, and grassland fragments, examining how local habitat conditions interact with the surrounding landscape. I also collaborate on studies of plant invasions, arthropod communities, and the relationships between biodiversity and human well-being. Through my research, I aim to inform conservation and land management that support biodiversity in human-dominated landscapes.
