The primary tasks of the unit include the maintenance and operation of the IAE research infrastructure, conducting surveys related to the public monitoring programmes, providing support for running scientific projects conducted within the research groups, and upon request, the provision of hydrobiological and limnological services through contractual agreements for external partners.
