sandy grassland, restoration, invasive species
I am a PhD candidate focusing on the role of invasive species in shaping the success of ecological restoration in temperate sand grasslands. My research combines long-term restoration experiments with field-based assessments of invasion pressure to understand how different functional groups of invasive plants respond to restoration interventions. My recent findings show that native seeding effectively reduces annual invasives, while perennial invasive species continue to increase over time despite treatments. I am completing my PhD at the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Szent István Campus.
