Profile

Between 1994 and 2012, she worked in various press bibliography departments (currents, retrospective) of the National Széchényi Library and was editor-in-chief of the Hungarian National Bibliography website of the National Széchényi Library. Between 2012 and 2014, she worked in museum and school libraries, in 2014–2015 she was Head of Department of the Hungarian National Digital Archive and Film Institute, and in 2016–2021 she was Head of the Library of the Hungarian Academy of Arts. In 2012 she started her PhD studies at the Doctoral Programme in Library Science at the ELTE Doctoral School of Literary Studies. She defended her dissertation in 2021, entitled “Resource Description and Access. The impact of RDA on future cataloguing practices”.

Areas of interest: history of library standardisation, standards application in practice, database construction.
Since 2019 she has been a lecturer at the Institute of Library and Information Science, ELTE BTK, teaching the subjects “Formal exploration”, “Integrated library systems”.

Since 1 April 2021, she has been working as Library Manager at the Centre for Ecological Research.
